Hey all,
My band is going to cover some Type O Negative songs and I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a good flange effect with distortion. Below is a sound of what we recorded in Amplitude, and is exactly the wound I wish to mimic on my Pod XT Live.

I have the FX Junkie expansion already but I just can't seem to get a good flangey / chorusy sound out of my Pod XT and I hate to ditch it since I hope to use it live... Is it just not capable of this tone? I've also tried my Boss BF-3 Flanger and that has a bit greater luck but still get that whirling sound. Maybe you tone experts can help me figure out the right combo of flange and chorus?
This is the tone that I am starting with and failing miserably at adding chorus / flange to get the above posted sound.
