POLL; U pick the neck for my guitar

If you could take just a moment to pick the neck you think looks best. Tonewise I have no real preference, I think they could both sound good in a different way. So I'm going with either the Maple Rosewood, or the all Maple, and will probably choose whatever is more popular here if I get enough responses ( The Guitar is a Koa Strat body assembly in progress).

I tend to like smaller headstocks, but I'd go with rosewood here. Then, scallop it.

Rosewood is always my top choice, but it clashes with that pickguard.

Rosewood board for me, all the shades of timber and tortoise are balanced.

Both look great to me Jer so I would go with the one which you feel will give you the sound you want. I don't know what sonic traits Koa has so I'd try both anyway.

I dig maple in most all cases, but here I'd have to go with rosewood

Looks-wise, I like the Rosewood one better, feel-wise, I am a Maple/Maple kind-of-guy.

Tone-wise I like and can make both work so that's a coin-flip.

Thnx to everybody, this thread exceeded my expectations. Incidentally , I have decided on a Red Tort pickguard
, but I did order a true Celluloid Red Tortoise guard from Germany ( 60 bucks!) , cause the cheap Red tort I have on the guitar looks, well, cheap. Heres the exact Celluloid Red Tortoise guard I ordered. I I like it, and especially cause of the Vintage Fender vibe;
