1. Black/Black

I almost always go for creme plastics, but Black / Black looks better to me here.

i have the neck pickup in backwards. the cream coil is supposed to be on the outside. if it makes a difference

Cream looks best to me. Plus it matches the truss rod cover.

I like cream/cream best on that guitar.

Black/black is OK, different coloured rings just look awful! (IMHO.....)

Black/black. Black metal would be even better.

Cream/cream looks too huge with open coils and cream bobbins. It distracts from the lines of the guitar. Cream/cream would only work with covers, or with double black bobbins IMO. That's why I changed the cream rings to black on my ML (and put trim rings on). Looks much better than stock IMO.

Cream neck - black bridge. The cream neck will get closer with the fingerboard which has darker color.

are the holes already there for the rings?

If not I would totally direct mount them. I hate plastic I find it ruins most guitars.

If you have to go with rings get some black metal ones they don't look as tacky.

But with what you have there I would go black/black

yes it has the ring holes. i was thinking about direct mounting, but i wouldn't know how high, or low to set the pickups. plus the routs are pretty large. it wouldn't look good
