I really hope it doesn't come down to this as I'm really diggin' this guitar right now, but I may have to pass the G&L I recently picked up. I traded my Hamer Special another guy over at TGP, supposedly for this guitar plus some cash to make up for the difference in our asking prices (cash was my main motivation for listing the Hamer anyways, I have some expenses coming up that would make things somewhat tight right now).
Well, that's been nearly 2 weeks ago, and I haven't received his paypal payment yet (yes I sent an invoice). In fact I haven't heard from him at all since I told him the G&L made it here. I haven't found a way to file a complaint on a money request or invoice via Paypal yet, so if I haven't heard anything by this weekend I'll have to turn the G&L for some much-needed cash.
Anyways, the guitar is a 1994 G&L Legacy Special. Alder body w/ black sparkle finish, maple neck with rosewood board, Sperzel tuners, and killer G&L rail pickups made by Gotoh. My favorite feature of this guitar is the control layout, it's master volume/ treble cut/ bass cut, and makes for a VERY versatile guitar. This guy is made from some nice pieces of wood, as it resonates very well, it's very loud acoustically. You can dial in pretty good classic strat tones if you roll the bass back, or crank it up for a humbucker tone with a touch more bite.
I suppose right now I'm just seeing what kind of interest is out there, I'd like to get about $650 shipped if it comes to selling it.
