Is that a canary neck? That's what I use and love it. Is yours finished? I used Master Gel, which is very silky.

No, it's actually unfinished pau ferro. Very, very smooth. Moreso (and harder feeling) than rosewood.

It's sort of like a lighter-weight ebony, but with a real chocolaty grain. I love it.
