Too many mind-altering substances and sharpies. Never a good combo. Plays absolutely KILLER, though! I actually haven't played another guitar in over a month...

eh? i say wah? The v220 was my inspiration for my body on my 36 fret build. I think its a stunning shape.

That's not a V220 but the later X220 and yes i like the way it looks myself. Carvin should have reissued the X instead of the V220 as I like the smaller pointier body MUCH better!!
Here are 2 X220C's and a V220C together to show the difference the Blue flame is the V220C.

I think there is a difference between a guitar that *intends* to be ugly, and one that was supposed to look good but something went wrong.

That 96 is my favorite thing right now, but unfortunately she is for sale :(. New child is here and money is scarce, so if you want to maybe talk about price or anything PM me! I just love seeing all of these guitars, some prettier than others.. but all great lookers!

Some say this finish is pretty hideous. I never sought out an Antigua burst, I'm usually a pretty big fan of traditional finishes. But I adore this guitar. It plays and sounds incredible, and it gets lots of attention. Seeing as it's my main guitar I don't think I could part with it.

Interesting thread.
All the S series in the OP needs is some dot inlays instead of the shark tooth inlays and it would look fantastic IMO.
That black and cream-ish white strat Itsabass is a good looking guitar, dunno what you're smoking if you think that's ugly dude :laugh2: Although agreed on the 50's MIJ reissue strat. Not a fan of that color scheme at all. Undeniably very classic looking though so I can see how some people would dig it.
Crayon's '96 MIM has a very jarring aesthetic too, but honestly all that needs is a different color that would compliment the black pickguard a bit better.
Roadster is definitely a bit ugly, but it's definitely mostly that bridge I think.
The reversed Corvus looking thing and the pink Carvin are probably the only majorly ugly guitars in this thread I think.
The Telebas-tard put a smile on my face with the rage-face dude. Ugly I suppose, but such a fun looking guitar I'd probably be okay with playing that on stage :D

ugh, Antigua Burst is definitely my least favorite Fender finish.
