Post your Lesters.

Re: Post your Lesters.

Hello, new to the forum. Saw this thread and thought that I would post. The Lemon Burst Classic is sporting a pair of Slash and the Traditional's sound is provided though a pair of Whole Lotta Humbuckers.

Re: Post your Lesters.

My Les Paul is not as pretty as many of the ones already posted, but until I can afford a higher end model, she's my Les Paul. I got her in a trade for a G&L Tele. It's a faded brown Gibson Les Paul Studio. When I got it I loved the neck, and action was really nice. The problem was the tone sucked. I bought a set of SD Pearly Gates. The stock Gibson pickups didn't do it for me. As I took it apart I found the pc board for the volume and tone controls. I ripped that out too. I went with a 50's style wiring harness, Russian PIO tone caps, and matched CTS pots. I also switched to Grover locking tuners, and lastly I switched the knobs and truss rod cover just to change up the look a bit. Now it sounds killer, and plays great. It's a keeper.

Re: Post your Lesters.

Here's mine:

L - R:
MIJ Tokai Love Rock Custom - custom wind Bulldog Pickups
98' Gibson Les Paul Standard - BKP Mules. Soon to have Dimarzio Super Distortion/36th Anniversary PAF
07' Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 58 Reissue R8 - Stock as far as I know, but the wiring has been changed so it's possible the pickups have too. Is getting the Mules from the other Gibby.
Gordon Smith Graduate 60 - BKP Black Dog/Riff Raff. This was a custom order from when my Grandad died several years ago. Custom lemonburst colour that they don't usually do.

A better pic of the Gibbys:

Re: Post your Lesters.

Long gone, all of them:

My first electric, bought from my best friend when I was 16.
Montoya bolt-on. I had a Kahler put on it.

LPC serial number 11111 (it was my ultimate number 1  )

'93 Standard

Charvel Refinement Japan-market-only model. Bolt-on, not as thick as the Gibson, but thicker than an SG, Charvel neck. Needed a Floyd. And better inlays.

Re: Post your Lesters.

Nothing super special, although I don't see tons in this color.

Epiphone Les Paul Studio Deluxe with an SD SH-4 JB bridge and SH-2 Jazz model neck. Sounds and plays great! Except for still needing new tuners!

Sorry for the bad pic!

Here are mine. The sunburst is a '97 Ace Frehley. The gold top is an Aria Pro II, that a friend of mine bought from Neal Schon , and I bought it from him. They're both killer guitars.

Re: Post your Lesters.

I want to see some LP action. Here's mine at the shop, I can't wait to get it. 5 weeks to go.

Time's up. Where is it?

Please say that you have not done an Ice-trozombie on us.

Idk WTF my mother was thinking when she said I could blow $1500 on a guitar.

This would worry me. It would have me bracing myself to receive bad medical news or something.
