Just looking for a few tips here...

I mic'd one up last week using a couple different mics and I really wasn't feeling the sound.

Threw a U87 up, didn't work. TLM 103, didn't work either. Stuck a an old beat up D12E inside a fishbowl and I got a little closer to a good sound. I also changed my Neve mic pre to a computer sound card pre and it definately helped so I'm going to stick with that.

Any tips, pictures????

Dude you gotta keep the foamers away from the monitor wedges!

Dude, what are you talking about? Keeping the foamers within 1 inch of the cone of an earbud headphone is what makes this things really sing.
