Just a rhythm clip tuned a whole step down, Invader bridge pup in a Gibson SG Standard. Played through a Marshall JCM 900 combo 4102, and JCM 800 2204 through 1960ax cab (these two amps are blended together) Mic'd the cabs w/ a Sennheiser E609Silver, and an SM57

Amazing chug, great clarity, nice bass, pinch harmonic heaven, lots of power!

I figured this would help for anyone who is interested in the Invader, but would like a clip.

It doesn't sound as heavy as I'd expect but that's your settings not the pickup, having had an Invader myself.
It sounds pretty cool, although doesn't really come across as a high output gain monster at all in that clip. The pinch harmonics are nowhere near as blatant as I'd expected from the "Hi Zakk" comment!

Yeah, I agree. Not thaaat heavy. I only had my amp on like 1... normally its cranked way up... it gets wayyy heavier when its cranked. And yeah, I set with amp with lots of treble (around 8) presence 10, bass 10, mids 5, pre amp 10. I don't understand how people thing Invaders are muddy ....

People probably buy the Invader for high gain metal, then crank the gain on the amp up too.
