Pots in a Standard Gibson SG

Does any one out there know for sure that I would need to install short shaft volume and tone pots or would they be long shaft. I am pretty confident that they would need to be short shaft but I just wanted to confirm it.

Short shaft. The top's pretty thin on those. Lew

Yes, SG's take short.

Les Pauls are the only guitars I've known to use long shafts, and I've gone through a ****load of them. I'm sure there's something out there that uses long, but for the most part it will likely be short in anything other than a Les Paul.
