i was wondering wat are pots and wqhy do people change them. wats the benifit of changing them

Pots are the volume and tone knobs on your guitar and the other question i don't know the answer too

Pots roll off a certain amount of treble for each kind you get. The most common kind's are 250K(used with single coils) and 500K(used with humbuckers). But, they are available in 25K(active pickups only), 250K, 300K(used with some humbuckers), 500K, and 1 meg. The lower the number, the less treble thats let through.
