I've got a Johnson J-bass style for sale, looking for little for it. Purpleheart-ish body, slightly transparent, a few dings and scratches. Has pickups, pots, knobs, control plate, and jack, as well as bridge, hardware, tuners, and strap pins. Basically, just missing the pickguard (non-functional, since the pickups are both direct mount to the body) and two strings (never replaced em, no need for it).
Old camera, some stuff on the lens that won't come off.
The bass is a little dirty, a few dings here and there, but nothing that'll hurt it functionally. The pickguard screws are still in place, despite the lack of a pickguard.
OH! Just noticed, it's missing a saddle. I took it off to measure it, it's sitting on the stand, so I DO have it and it WILL be included.
I can sell it as a whole (would make a VERY simple project, basically check the wiring and replace the strings, then a simple set-up to taste), would make a great throw-around bass for a guitarist, backup beater, or beginner's guitar, or could part it out.
60 OBO and shipping for the whole thing (can remove the neck from the body for less-costly shipping), less for parts. Contact me.
