You mite be able to use a drill press as a lathe for making knobs......

I already tried that and failed, I will just go to my woodworking guild and sort it out there.

The magnets are a bit of a novelty i guess. I do like the no screw look but i dont know if i will bother doing it again.

I finally got word that my rg550xh neck simulator preamps are heading my way. $150 i paid for 2 of them. I think the net build will be planned for one of those babies. It took them 7 months to get them here.

Morning.

Its a pcb preamp thingy found in the 30 fret ibby rg550xh, Basically it uses the bridge pickup to simulate neck tone. Which is awesome considereing the lengths some builders have gone to achieve this.

Well the courier has it now i just hope it makes it. I have a feeling its actually been in the country for months and the main supplier hadn't realized.

I can start planning a project for it now.

Wait, does it use two three way blade switches in that diagram?

That seems a bit cumbersome. I imagine you have a way around that.

You twat man haha. That's a 5way ibby switch. The diagram is showing how to wire each side of the switch.

haha yeah i am nervous about that stage. I am gluing the nut on now, So hopfully this week i can get some strings on and test it before i begin the map finish.

Help me by thinking of a name for this beast?
