Love the guitar, but not so much the "bargain" electronics. My main plan for this project is to make it over into a blues monster using high-quality parts.
First step was to yank the pots and replace the 245 "S" pickups with a nice set of S-D Vintage Blues 59s:
Tomorrow I line the bay with copper and install a Liberator and a set of CTS pots with treble bleed circuits. Then It'll be time to test-run a series of caps through the tone controls to get the sound I want. :beerchug:
