ProLine FretRest Guitar Stands: Nitro Safe?

Does anyone know if these are safe for Nitrocellulose lacquer? As I understand, the foam on some stands reacts with the lacquer.

I've heard of Nitro having bad reactions to some foam rubbers. I've never got a reaction from any of my Nitro guitars? YET!:smack: But I'm sure it is a strong possibility. Nitro is a solvent based paint. Off hand I don't know how foam rubber is manufactured? But I'd bet it has a solvent component in it that could contaminate Nitro.

Don't know if my 78' Les Paul custom is "nitro" or not, I assume it is. The stand it was sitting on for some time did a number on the white finish. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it either! Live and learn....
