PRS SE Custom 24 with PATB1 abd PATB3?

Purchased a PRS SE Custom 24 and I am thinking of swopping out the pickups for a PATB1 in the neck and a PATB-3 pickup in the bridge. The PATB-1 normal spacing while the PATB-3 is a trembucker.

Is that a problem and any reviews of these pickups?

Thanks

The 3 is FAT.
The 1 neck model was nice from what I remember - it was like a PAf strength neck but with more clarity. Not a flat eq type clarity, but a less congestion type clarity.

PATB-1n, right? These are great pickups, often overlooked I think because of the unusual cosmetics. I have the 1n and the 3 in a Floydcaster and I just love 'em. Especially if your Custom24 is a little on the bright side, these will fill it out a lot and warm it up a little. The only possible snag I see is that the PATB3 does have strong mids, and some of the SEs can be quite midrangey in character. With the placement on a 24 fret guitar, the PATB-1n ought to do very well for you. I like to get to know a guitar pretty well before choosing a bridge pickup, but you'd hear it right away if yours is one of the mid-heavy ones. As I said, I do love the PATB-3. It's a great sounding pickup- in my Strat, good balance of crisp and fat with a voicelike lead tone. Kinda liquid under gain. And trem spacing should be no problem- I always believed these were all trembuckers; it's in the name after all...
