PRS SE Tremonti : )

WOW...what a great guitar! I`ve been interested in these for a couple of years now and i finally got one today. Very impressive quality and playability that rivals much more expensive guitars. Really, this thing plays like butter. The stock pups are surprisingly decent but i will upgrade them at some point. All in all just a great quality/crafted guitar that just satisfied my need for a Single Cut bodied axe. They say that Japanese guitars are up to par with USA ones and the Korean made ones are now what Japan use to be,i believe it. These SE`s if you don`t know are MIK and honestly are made just as nice if sometimes even better then the LP Studio`s IMHO,i had a couple of those before.

BTW...i`m not really even a fan of Tremonti,i just dig the guitar and like it better then the standard SE Singlecuts because of the seperate volume/tone controls for each pup.

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

Congrats dude, I really dig that guitar also. I will also agree that the ones I played were better than the les paul studio I had. The SE line is easily the best bang for buck out there for humbucker equipped guitars, only rivaled by the newer fender mexican line with single coils.

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

One of my buddies has one with an EMG 81/85 set in it, and it does play pretty well. I don't care for the EMGs personally, but it's a very resonant guitar and rings out well acoustically.

I`m thinking some Antiquities would be cool.
Seriously though this guitar is fantastic. Plays so smooth and easy and the fretwork is perfect.

Hell yeah, man!

Resonant is what my SE is all about, loud as crap unplugged, and better quality than I can fathom at the price.

Welcome to the best kept secret in electric guitars!

I have an SE Soapbar --- it's a Singlecut, solid mahogany with an arched top, master volume and master tone, a wraparound tailpiece, and of course, soapbar P90s. You can see it here, and hear it at the link in my sig!

I bet you will be playing this one a lot!

Nice...yeah i`m really blown away with this one. I`ve been wanting a Single Cut guitar for awhile now and this one is perfect. Like i said i had a couple of Les Paul Studios before that cost twice as much and the Tremonti SE is actually nicer!

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

PRS's import stuff is awesome. I really wanna get one of the models that's setup like with 3 singles. A set-neck, mahogany Strat seems like it would be pretty cool. I still love the early Santanas (the ones without a pickguard) too.

Yeah those are really nice as well!

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

I got to play one of those new SE series custom 24. I honestly can say I am impressed. They successfully took the spirit and basic sound of the custom 24, and made an affordable version of it. I was impressed.

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

Tremonti is a giant douche but, I would play one of the SE's anyday!

Yeah...it has nothing to do with him,i just love the guitar!
I`ll probably have the headstock repainted at some point anyway or get one of those vinyl clings/stickers to put over it.

I would have gotten the regular SE Singlecut but i like the seperate vol/tone controls for each pup that the Tremonti has.
