PRS SE Tremonti : )

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

The strings are starting to break in now and its getting even better. Man this is an awesome guitar!!

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

hehehe, I just might. I'm in line to get a couple of thousand bucks from the gov't (in Australia) when our economic stimulus package comes through, so it seems like buying a Tremonti (or maybe a singlecut?) is my civic duty

Can`t go wrong with a Singlecut either. The reason i went with the Tremonti over the SC is the seperate vol/tone controls for each pup. But the SC`s are amazing as well!

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

Tremonti himself seems like a decent enough guy and good guitarist.

He's just guilty by association with one of the worst bands of all time, even though in recent years I guess its come out that he, just like the rest of the world, couldn't stand Scott Staph

Creed was blowing up though and I'm sure he's set for life for having been a part of it.

Honestly can't say I'd blame him either

I mean if Chad Kroger from Nickleback asked me to join, even though I can't stand that band, I'd totally do it just because I'd make millions.

Sure people would hate me for the next 20 years and say I suck, but I'd never have to work again, could have any gear I want and a few vacation homes with no neighbors within a few miles and could play as loud as I want.

If a few years of selling your soul means being able to be set for life and make the music you actually DO want to make from there out on, sign me up.

Give me a PRS deal as well!

And a wah!

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

I'm with you there, Mills :D I'd "sell out" in an instant, so I totally support people who go for money (of course, I'm a law student). After watching some interviews I even forgive Vanilla Ice, lol.

How big are the frets on the SEs? I'm finding the ones on my Gibson SG just a little smaller than ideal.

Re: PRS SE Tremonti : )

tremonti could play a guitar made of your decrepit remains and still rock anyone's face off. zing!

He could but, at the end of the day when he puts down the guitar, he still has douche written all over him. Now, go back to banging your tremonti blow up sex doll you are sure to have. LOL!

The frets are medium jumbo`s (i think?). Compared to standard Gibson frets i`d say the SE`s are definitely bigger/wider.
