PRS Standard 24 + Slash ALNICO II PRO Help

Hi folks

I bought a PRS STANDARD 24 at SamAsh and I asked for good pickups to do an upgrade. The seller recommended the Slash Pickups and I just bought (I asked for the Pearly Gates first, but they didn't have it). When arrived in Brazil (I live here), I just realized that the pickups are single conductor and the the PRS pickups are multi conductors, allowing the split coil (tone knob). I did some research but not found anything about how to wire them into the PRS.
Does anyone can help with good ideas to wire it? I wish I could keep the coil split, but I'm almost sure tha I'll loose it.

Thanks in advance!

Is this your guitar? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/prs-se-standard-24-electric-guitar

According to the specs there is no coil split on this guitar. And the selector switch is a 3 way.

If that's the case you should be able to use your new Slash pickups with no modifications to the switch or controls.

Or did you want to add a push/pull tone control to allow coil splitting? If so, you can't do that with your Slash pickups.

My advice would be to just install the Slash pickups and enjoy your new guitar.

I had them in my own PRS and they sound GREAT!

There is a way two split a 1-2 condutor humbucker, but it requires major surgery to the pickup. It is a risky procedure if you don't know what you're doing. I managed to do it succesfully in my HSS Strat to split the coils. However, I would take Lewguitar's advise and just enjoy your new guitar. Both, the PRS 24 and the SD Slash are excellent products and you may already have more than you need. I say give it a try as it is with the new pickups and if you find that you want/need more, you can start thinking about what to do.
Btw, congrats on the new guitar and pickup.
