Dont sweat it, long as the fretboard is on the same side as the pups and bridge, Gibson QC did their job and exceeded expectations already!
Is it just me, or are the tuners missing in some of these pics?

IIRC, that Future Tribute Les Paul has the same tuners that the 50th Anniversary Flying V had. They have knobs on the back of the headstock and instead of the peg rotating around, the peg moves in and out of the tuner to adjust the tension/pitch of it's string.
And thanks for posting this Jeff. It's very tempting, but so is the free MXR pedal offer that Guitar Center has right now. And the only way I could pay for the Gibson I want off that list is on payments, but I don't like payments, but I really want a Gibson Les Paul again......hmm.....

MF has some good deals on Gibsons right now too. Also, you can go through places like ebates and get 8% off, then get a coupon at MF by just asking one of their salespeople. So if you live in a non-internet tax state you could get 23% off something on a super lowered price. that'd be awesome.

Steinberger gearless tuners. They were initially putting them on those GOTW guitars but then they jumped to Firebirds as standard, and now other models.

Firebirds are actually supposed to have banjo tuners, which are rear-facing. Now random rear-facing tuners are thrown around.
There is a Thunderbird IV bass these for $900. Not a bad price, but the pickups stink.
Still want to know whether that Midtown stuff is gloss or meh paint.
