PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

In case anyone is interested, you can shoot me a PM and we can work it out, just shoot me an offer if anyone wants the thing. I put it up because I could use money and today is 10 cent day.

Basically, it's the PSP value pack (including everything that comes in the value pack), a few accessories, and 4 games (GTA, Socom, NBA, Fight Night). I just bought this about 2 weeks ago, but I nee some money so it's all good. I bought it for barely less than I'm selling it for, so if the right deal comes along I shouldn't gain or lse money on it. I'm looking for $300 on eBay, but I'll definitely sell it for cheaper to someone here. Any offers??

Free bump for BigAl...your name is Andrew though, right? Just want to make sure I got that right :chairfall

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

Yes sir, and thanks for the bump. I'm hoping someone bites, but if not it's no biggie. I'm only selling it because it was 10 cent day. If it does sell, I'm just going to buy another one after Christmas. But this would be good Christmas money. :)

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

Yeah, just realize that during these "special listing sales", Ebay gets flooded with listings. When I was in the Powerseller program, I used to contemplate w/certain other sellers in the forum whether we should put a bunch of listings up or not at the time, all depending on the category the person was selling in. In a games category, you shouldn't have much of a problem, I wouldn't think, regardless of when listed, since it's a hot category.

Good luck, it should sell fine :)

Yeah this is the 8th PSP I've sold on eBay, but since Sony dropped the price a few months back, you can't make quite ass much $$$ obviously. But I've made quite a nice living selling stuff on eBay. Like I told begger, my guitar and amp (about $1000) were completely funded by the bay.

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

That is excellent you were able to fund your gear that way! Selling on Ebay can be fun and addicting. Yeah, I used to sell full-time on the site for about a year, and then sales just started creeping down more and more, and I lost my Powerseller status. I noticed a lot of sellers lose there's as well that I used to be friends with, which was kind of sad to see them go (some after over 6 years in the program!). The program benefits weren't really anything much at all, but you only have access to the PS Forum when you are in it.

I will delete this or any comments if you want, just PM me, I don't wanna hijack your sale thread :laugh2:

lol I never understood that term. I couldn't care less what people write in my topics, as long as they aren't semitic. And what exactly are the perks of being a power seller? I'll never get there, but I was just wondering.

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

You could do it, it just can be hard to maintain, IMO. Besides having access to the forum, Phone support at Silver level or +, and having the optional use of the icon next to your name, absolutely nothing. You have to be careful what you say on the forum, too, because your selling ID is tied to every post that you make! I have seen flaming go onto the point where people have lost their accounts over shilling on their "enemies" items and leaving negative feedback. One lady lost her account after a collection of over 6,000 feedbacks.

Powersellers are sellers that have sold at least 1k a month for 3 months in a row (which you have to maintain), and have at least 100 unique feedbacks and at least 98% or greater feedback. That will get you into the bronze program, it goes all the way up to the Titanium level (150k a month).

Having the icon next to your name and increased sales because of it, is completely debatable. I found the medical/health benefits to be totally bogus. The main thing is your margin of profit, and on Ebay that in and of itself could be a challenge, after the fees...we are all making Meg Whitman rich :)

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

Yeah my goodness, what a cash cow that whole system is! I can't even fathom how much they're raking in. So what exactly did you sell on eBay?

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

I used to sell movies, games, strings and various guitar accessories.

Btw, it is free to be in the PS program, and I'm not trying to make into nothing. I found the Powerseller board forum to be of great use, you can learn a lot there...and for those who are at a specific higher level, they get their own account managers.

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

dave, I sold it for $270 including shipping which is cool. Shipping will cost me about $10-$15, and the fees will be a lot. But I bought everything for about $245, so this is a good deal and I'm pretty happy! Now I have $325 in my paypal, and it's beggin to be spent. But I'll probably end up spending it on christmas presents.:dammit:

lol

Thanks for the help dave!

Re: PSP and 4 games up on ebay (including GTA Vice City Stories)

Congrats on selling it. Try not to spend too much money for Christmas (lmao...I know the feeling w/that one).

Btw, do you have a checking account attached to your Paypal? You should probably drain the funds out of that account, it seriously is a bad idea to keep it in there for too long, I have heard stories...

Yeah I have a few accounts. I will drain the excess money, but I'm gonna get my Christmas shopping done soon. Probably gonna buy an amp too.
