Well in my current playing style, I am longing for some new effects. I am currently considering EHX(One of my favorite pedal brands) for effects. I am looking for Spacey, swelling, phased out etc.... Any recommendations?
...or as my kind of doctor would say, "Double the Dose!"screamingdruggie said:If you have tried hallucinogenics and still fail to understand that concept, you need to listen to some Funkadellic.

Basically, any sort of modulation will work. Particularly stuff like flange, phase, Vibe, ect....
Tremolo, volume swells, ring mods, delay, reverb, fuzz, octave fuzz, Octavia's, anything used by Hendrix.
But the real key to a good psychedelic is layers and groove. If what you're playing ain't got no groove, then there's nothing to build more layers of sound on. It's the interplay of the layers that grab the imagination and pull the mind along for the ride*
* usually with the assistence some hallucinogenic. If you haven't tried hallucinogenics you may have trouble grasping the concept I just mentioned. If you have tried hallucinogenics and still fail to understand that concept, you need to listen to some Funkadellic.
