Pulled the trigger... Warmoth build ordered!

So after more than a year of deliberation, reading, learning, asking stupid questions that annoy everyone, and playing every kind of guitar, I finally made my decision. Sold my Blacktop on Craigslist yesterday, and just ordered my body and neck from Warmoth. This is my college graduation present to myself in December. Am figuring with setup and everything, will be first of the year or so before is finished, so the timing is perfect.

Wicked excited about this!

Nice! So is this going to be one of those builds that's meticulously documented with photographs and such, or will it be super secret and just emerge one day complete? (You don't have to answer that. I'm just trying to make conversation.)

I'll post pics when the boxes show up because at that point I'll be a giddy teenage girl, am already stoked, but I know don't know enough about what I'm doing to f*** up $900 worth of parts. I have a shop I love that will do the setup, am hoping they'll agree to take lots of pics. Would love to have a step-by-step record of it all fo' sho.

Can i roast my own neck in the oven?

Step 1: Set oven to broil
Step 2: open oven door
Step 3: stick head in as far as you can
Step 4: do not remove until toasty brown, chestnut color presents itself

...that should work!
