Uhhh, hell yeah!! The first time I saw a Marshall wrapped in purple tolex I wanted one! What a great match for my purple satin strat with gold hardware!!!

I just wish I could afford a purple tolex Marshall or any brand that did it on a tube amp for that matter...

The Vintage Modern has a tolex with a very purplish-blue tolex. I personally like the old purple marshall heads. The orange ones - not so much - save that for Orange amp (the company) those look cool.

Yay! Purple is cool. Cab's gotta match the head, though.

There used to be a web site devoted to the Marshall Studio 15, and the pic on their main page was of a purple Studio 15. I believe that amp had been recovered, though. Marshall never made 'em in purple. Either way, it was about the coolest Marshall combo amp ever made.

You talk like skinning Barney would be a bad thing.

www.valvetechamps.com. He will do an amp in almost all the Marshall colors for a very reasonable price, he will make cabs as well. My Marshall purple combo cost me under $1000.00 shipped.

I find its a nice tweak from the eternal black amp cladding. Brings a bit of fantasy in the world of amplification while staying neat and dark.
