I need a diagram for an SPST(?I think?) push pull pot as a killswitch, just to kill both pickups. Artie came to mind first! Google yeilded no results, so thanks!

well, i'm not sure about sp/dt's but on a dp/dt you just attach the wire that would go to the output to the top left/right or bottom left/right, then attach a wire that goe sto the output in the middle left/middle right (when i say left/right, i mean either.... but whichever side you choose, all the other connections must be on that side as well) I'm not familiar with sp/dt's...so...sorry

don'T know about the spst etc. switches (spdt?)
but you just have to set the hot (which goes to to the jack) on ground and you have killed the signal.
simple take a short measure which pins are conected at which position....

Alright it is infact a DPDT switch, Let me go try that real quick holydirt.

Marcel, How would I make that test? I have a multimeter, what would I set it to?

since your switch is dp/dt, it doesnt matter, he was trying to find a way to figure out what terminals go where on a sp/dt switch... the method i posted leaves a little bit of bleed through, but i've never tried marcel's way... it may reduce/eliminate the bleed through... if you can, try both, and get back to us and let us know!

I just threw this together real quick, but it gives you the basic idea:

Kill Switch

BTW - A SPDT switch is just one half of a DPDT switch. ;)

yup, but what i dont get about them is that they only have 2 lugs for the switch...

Oh dang...that's simple! Thanks!

One other question. After rewiring everything back to stock because somehow I screwed things up, and now have my bridge pickup hardwired to the switch, my tone pot doesn't roll off highs anymore, even though there's a capacitor attached to it. Will this give me the same added brightness that having no tone pot would give? I don't want to judge myself, as not to be a victim of placebo. Thanks!
