Push-push bypass mod to add to on-off-on coil split mod

I have an HSS strat that I added an on-off-on toggle to the P-rail humbucker to get 1) Slug, 2) Full humbucker, 3) Rail, and it works great.

My final mod on this project is to hopefully add a bypass (I think it's called a blower switch? or something like that) where when I push the button, it takes the humbucker straight to the output jack.

My 5 position switch is a 5 way super switch discrete (which looks like a hybrid regular 5 way and super switch). The coil split was simple as it came before the super switch. I am not sure where to put the bypass push-push switch, or if the wiring changes from what I already know (Elite Strat wiring).

I'm attaching 2 pix of current wiring (it's basically an Elite strat with the push-push bypass replaced with the on-off-on, but having the bypass may be useful). 1st image is full wiring of my current setup. 2nd pic zooms in on the on-off-on. The humbucker wires on the left of the diagram are already SD color coded. (the DPDT could've just been an SPDT, but I didn't have one of those, and couldn't find one at local store).

Any help on how to do this would be helpful . . . I am hoping it is as simple as just plopping it back in and connecting it to the on-off-on somewhere.

Thanks for any help on this. No prob if it's just not possible though.

Re: Push-push bypass mod to add to on-off-on coil split mod

I found this diagram: https://www.seymourduncan.com/blog/tag/blower-switch
Since I will be integrating this with the on-off-on coil splitter, would this wiring setup work for a blower switch (passing lane)?

What I am thinking is take the wire that goes from splitter to 5 way and route it instead to the lug for the hot wire from humbucker; then send the lug above that to the 5 way; the lug next to that to the S-1 wiper lug (center); then the lug below that one to output jack.

Trouble I see here is I'll have 2 wires on the S-1 wiper lug (one coming in from the blower switch, the other going to the output jack; which also means I'd have 2 wires going to output jack (from S-1 wiper, and from blower switch), unless the blower switch wouldn't need to go to output since it would be sent to 5 way, then to S-1, then to output.
CORRECTION TO IMAGE: The wires I think I'd get rid of would be teh bottom right of blower to S-1, and the bottom middle of blower to output since the 5 way would be sent to S-1, then S-1 would send to output via wiper lug

I think I'm in the ballpark, but from here I don't know what is right or wrong.

Ideas?
Thanks!

Re: Push-push bypass mod to add to on-off-on coil split mod

I changed the diagram a bit for the blower switch (to make it as it is wired on actual Elite Strat). In the diagram below, I REMOVED the wire from blower to S-1 (lower-left lug of blower to wiper of S-1) since that was giving me some funky sounds.

Here's what is now confusing: With the blower switch engaged (button in down position), it seems to be adding the humbucker to whatever pickups would normally be selected based on the Elite Strat wiring . . .AND it follows the 3-way coil split. While this is interesting, it's now quite what it is supposed to do. I may return it to this current setup, but I'd like to understand what I need to change in order to get a true blower switch where when the button is in down position, I simply get the humbucker (that still follows the coil split toggle selection). I left out the other wiring of the Elite since it looked like a tangled mess when I attempted to draw it, but everything follows the diagram in previous post with the changes shown on this post's diagram (blower added).

Any idea what I need to change?

Thanks

Oh, I left out a jumper on the diagram: On the Blower switch, there should be a jumper from the uppper center lug to the lower right lug.

Alrighty, working very hard to figure this out on my own . . . I will be trying this setup once I get home. I blacked out the blower wiring before and changed it up via computer (the new wiring attempt is obvious).

I think this will have more luck. . .here's my logic: The upper 3 lugs are for regular setup where middle lug is p-rail from coil split switch, and left lug sends to super switch. Lower 3 lugs are for blower engaged where center lug is still p-rail from coil split (thus the jumper) and the right lug sends that direct to output jack.

Any feedback on if this should work appreciated.

Well, that didn't work either. But after some experimenting, this did work: I went back to the previous diagram but removed the wire from S-1 to output jack.

Here's the working diagram (all wiring not shown is the same as Elite Strat HSS wiring diagram with exception of removing wire from S-1 wiper (middle lug) to output jack.

Sorry it's sloppy -- new at trying to draw this stuff.

I've got one issue that I think is unrelated where position 2 is a bit too quiet. I'll get back if it is related to this wiring.
