OK, here goes.
When you have a humbucker in the bridge, you want to have as follows. A RW/RP neck, a normal middle, and then a normal bridge. You do not have to rewire the bridge pickup for a reverse sound in order to accommodate your rwrp ssl. If i recall correctly, you'll have an incredible amount of hum if they're wound the same way, and it'll sound out of phase. Just go on wymoreguitars.com and order up a normal SSL-1, and put it upstairs.
An S-S-S works best like this:
SSL-1 (normal)
SSL-1 (rwrp)
SSL-1 (bridge)
For hum cancelling in the positions of 2 and 4.
However, since a HB has a normal and rwrp together, and if we follow HSS rules of:
SSL-1 (rwrp)
SSL-1 (normal)
HB
Thus, if we are to assume that the only other pickup is the neck one (no middle), then we can simply move the polarity of the middle pickup up to the neck position, and insert the pickup before the HB (which is normal). Thus, you could put in the "normal" SSL-1 and be fine.
Get a normal (non rwrp) SSL-1.
(I checked my strat's guts to see how it was wired too)
