Quadmatic Bridges?

Anyone know anything about these things? I've only seem the or mainly seen them on BC Rich guitars. My Mockingbird has one. Are they crap? Any suggestions for replacing them if they are? They seem to be much like a Bad A$$ bridge. There are two set/locking (?) screws that go I guess screw into the posts to keep them from being freely moved but it also looks like it can move the bridge back for intonation purposes. That's my main question. With the screws set so that the bridge sits right on the pots (as opposed to the set screws pushing the bridge back and the screws resting on the posts) I can't set the intonation on all strings. If I use the set screws to move the bridge back there for lengthening the strings I can set the intonation. Doesn't seem right but looks like that's why they're there. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Quadmatic Bridges?

They were made by Kahler for B.C Rich. They're similar to the Schaller 455 and the Leo Quan.
