Quality 5 way pickup selector switch

I played a few strats and I can sure appreciate a quality 5 way switch. The one I use now is cheap junk. I want top of the line.

I've used CRL, Oak Grigsby, and Fender. They all work great. The past few years I've been using mainly super switches and these are great...

I agree to stay away from those enclosed, box type switches. I've not had good luck with them.

Whether you spend $5 for a cheap switch as opposed to $15 for a good one, the price difference is not a big deal compared to the quality and peace of mind you get using the best. Cheap ones are not worth the hassle.

I agree totally GuitarDoc.
I’ve had similar experience with the enclosed type. But, using them is necessary in some circumstances, i.e. a thin body.
Further consideration, every time I have used one, it was noisy and soon intermittent. In one instance I was forced to use a 2P3T on,on,on toggle switch luckily it was pickguard mounted. I was able to redrill the slot and cover it with a camouflage sticker.

I assume Fenders are just rebranded CRL just like their pots are rebranded CTS.

I too have had good luck with CRL and Oak Grigsby.
