Question about effect chain TM18 + GT8 in a loop

hey, quick question
i have a tubemeister18 with a GT8 running through its effect loop and my guitar into the amp.
i am currently just using the clean channel on the TM18 and running all my effects off the GT8 in the loop.
i am not running any amp modeling on the GT8 but i am running in this order: Wah > Distortion > Compressor > EQ > Noise Suppressor > Chorus > Reverb > Delay
i think i have the effects in the right order but what i am wondering is if i should get a seperate distortion pedal to put in between my guitar and my amp and take it out of the loop
what do you guys think?

Yes, 4 cable method.

Are the distortions in the GT8 digital or analog? If digital, it might make sense to add a true analog gain pedal. The Boss DS1 & SD1 are available used cheaply and are still around because they sound pretty good. Of course the more standalone effects you add, the more you want... and that's how most of us moved past multi effects.

I don't think there are any analog effects in the GT units.

The other guitar player in my band has the 36 and runs it all out in front and it sounds fine.
