Question about pick-up sealing wax

Good morning. I own a Peavey Wolfgang with stock EVH pickups. When I adjusted the height of the individual pole pieces in the pick-up, I noticed that some potting wax was coming off around the screw heads. Does this mean I have now broken the potted seal and should be concerned? Can I re-seal them somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had wax come out after doing that and it caused no change or problems. That is just excess. The entire coil is probably waxed so it will be fine

At Duncan, they've got a wax potting machine that's like a vat of melted wax. As soon as they put the lid down, all the air gets suctioned out. It saturates the pickup much better than just dunking it.

Like Theodie said.....nothing to worry about. If you soldered a nickel cover on your pickup, then you'd have to consider re-potting it.
