Alright folks, I have some questions about the Seth pickups so I'd really appreciate if I could get some help here.
From what I've gathered from conversations/comments about the Seths, they're a softer, lower-gain pickup. I'd like to try one for the bridge of my guitar. I know it's supposed to be lower-gain but can I still achieve good distorted tones with it. I don't really need it for anything super heavy like Metallica etc, but I'm looking for a tone that resembles Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, and Brian May (of Queen). I know that EJ and Brian May use single coil setups, but would I be achieving a similar amount of distortion/gain as them? What about Satch?
