Re: question for MT-2 users for a metal sound
Well, I use to use the pedal as well as DigiTech models and whatnot. I found them, like most will, to only be of good use at bedroom volumes. To get the MET tone, you should keep the bass heavy and the treble right behind it with the mids nearly scooped. Set the mid-freq to, (oh let's see if I remember), between 11:00 and 1:00. That'll get you a nice heavy tone that, unfortunately is more than likely to break up when you get it out to a stage. Also, if you want a really good heavy, cheap, metal tone at lower volumes, grab a Graphic EQ and a nice overdrive. Just accentuate the frequencies stated above and you'll get a great tone. I did that for practice at my house a while back and was very sastisfied with it.
