While I have you, just got 2 out of my 3 STK-S's, & found the highest DC K between the Black & Bare tied off, & the White lead... other 6k readings came up w/different lead combos, but I would think my 9k results is what we want.... Unlike my Little59 & 78's where red & white are tied off to hang, & the others go +/- respectively. But what to do on these non-hummers... What goes where for a non-splitting guard? Many thnx, again!!

I think you want this diagram - https://guitarproject.pl/templates/images/files/388/1359928926-stk-s4-s9-wiring-diagram.pdf

Pretty much standard strat wiring - take the white wires from the pickups to the switch, black wires go to ground. The only extra thing you have to do is tape off the red wires if you're not splitting.

right. bare+black to ground, white is hot. only use the red if you want to split, which i usually dont bother with
