I dunno man.... Is it the one with the 10" speaker? Maybe not. I remember having a Fender Super Champ XD and it was 25W of 6v6's going through a 10" and maybe with a lot of gain it could keep up with a drummer but not clean.
A bigger speaker will help.

a more efficient speaker will help, size isnt all that important.
with a good speaker i think you would be ok as long as you dont need a perfectly clean sound. i have a weber 10a150t and it is louder than my 12" emi red fang which is pretty damn loud.

used Marshall DSL 50. Picked mine up for $600 and it rules. At that point, even if all you can afford after that is a cheap 1x12 cab, you'll have a lot of tone and a comparatively low price. I use a small 1x12 cab with my DSL and it can keep up with a drummer, I'm sure.
I also like the retarded daughter of the marshall family ( j/k... LOL) the 40W marshall Haze combo. My mom has one and it gets a good tone. It sounds a lil boxy compared to my DSL but the Haze is affordable and is a combo. $75 for a speaker and $75 for good tubes and you'd have an OK marshall kinda sound with plenty of power.

You were right i play rock. As for my gear i got a strat. I really like the marshall crunch tones kinda like ACDC. I checked out the haze and i didnt like it much. I was thinking either the ma series or the jmd if i could get more cash.

Go check this massive DSL appreciation thread in this forum. I swear, 1/3 of that thread is dedicated to the forum bros helping me find out if the DSL is better than the amps you're talking about. I believe it is better. I spent a long time trying to justify getting something cheaper, or more convenient, or something that's new and comes with a warranty, I thought there was no way that the DSL could be so much better than the made in asia marshalls. I just decided to trust the dudes on this forum and get a DSL. I uh, think I found the right amp. This thing KILLS.
If it came down to the MA or the JMD, though, I'd just take the MA. Simpler circuit is probably better for tone.
Seriously tho, DSL 50 or 100. It does AC/DC tones ALL DAY without breaking a sweat. It'll do hard rock all day. It has a very good, loud clean tone with decent spring 'verb and an FX loop. It's what the MA wants to be.

Thanks once again. I just checked out some demos for the dsl and it seems really cool, but i also found the tsl and was wondering if you knew if there was a big difference the two.

yeah I considered the TSL also. The big benefit is that the clean and gain channels have separate EQs. The downside is that the TSLs seem to have less punch and body to the drive (compared to a DSL), and the TSL feels a lil buzzier, or so I've heard from several. I've heard a few people say they like their TSL until they played a DSL. YMMV. I would never call it a bad amp but the DSL is said to be "where it is".
The TSL 100 is supposed to sound fairly better than the TSL 60, whereas the DSL 50 and 100 are supposed to be pretty darned close tonally. I have also heard that the TSL combos (and the DSL 401) have overheating issues, so if that's your bag, try to run a fan back there or something.
Again, this is a bunch of stuff I read all over the net when I was looking for stuff about either amp, so take it with a grain of salt, but it was all enough to get me to decide on a DSL rather than a TSL, even though the TSL combos are often pretty cheap on ebay.

You may find that some of the stuff by boogie, rivera, engl or even fender (there are obviously heaps more manufacturers) are more your thing. You may even get excited when you play a vox ac30. Forums are not a good place to make a decision as to what amp you get because everyone raves about their own gear (which is probably why they bought it in the first place.) Everyone has a different idea about what is the perfect sound. Use and trust your ears first - beg, borrow, rent or try out amps in a shop or rehearsal studio. Find out what works for you - especially if it works for you when playing with a drummer or bassist.
.....But if you like acdc type sounds particularly you may want to look into a different guitar than a strat (unless it has humbuckers).

I have already tried many different brands of Amps and i really like marshall. And ive been looking at tons reviews and videos and im gonna go with a dsl. Now i just gotta find one.

ebay if you can't find one in a store. Thank God that if someone tries to rip you off, Paypal and ebay are REALLY biased towards buyers, and it's pretty easy to get your money back if the amp is DOA.
I had to spend another 45 bucks on tubes and 3 bucks on a multimeter to bias them before the amp sounded it's best, but now I'm a happy camper.
So what kinda strat do you use? Mine is a squier deluxe with a duncan alnico II pro in the bridge. I find myself using my tone controls more with this amp. I can EQ the amp to work with all my guitars and if something's a lil bright I can turn the tone down without my sound going to mush.

The DSL is great, but if you like the Vox VT sound, just get a 50 or 100 watt VT.
My AD30VT gets plenty loud. It was able to keep up with a drummer, bass player and a horn line without getting lost. Just FYI...

The vox is a great amp and i really like it and I could buy a bigger one, but I really want an all tube amp. Fuse i have a fender players strat with a custom 5 in it.
