All prices include shipping in the US. I'll ship overseas BUT I'll have to figure the shipping and get back to you and that'll take a deposit of some kind to hold it.

Gold EMG 81/85 set-just the pups. No wiring included. A few scratches that show up in the pics. $100.

Gibson 500T. Firebreathing monster. 4 con wiring. The insulation doesn't go all the way into the baseplate but it meters right and sounded fine in the few guitars it's served as tenant. $45.

Re: Raiding the parts bin

I AM home, thank God, as of the 7th.

As far as the pup-if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it or I'll lower the price, though I'm curious as to why, being what it is, it's not worth more than a plain used Super D. No big deal. We're in a much smaller house and thinning the herd is a good thing...but one pickup doesn't make much difference, not to mention it kills me to get rid of ANYTHING.

Re: Raiding the parts bin

Well, I guess THAT'S not gonna sell, here, regardless of who's the one doing the talking. Thanks, Jer.

Re: Raiding the parts bin

Okay, I never read that. I was only trying to be helpful. Those old 70's Superd's are cool, and I have one. In top condiiton they can go for around 80 bucks if you are lucky, but not much more. Its a good bargain, IMO, as they do sound better than new ones, although mostly cause of the aging of the wire, as the ceramic magnet doesnt degauss like an old PAF.

The TOM bridge could be an old Jackson. I don't remember when they stopped using that bridge, but the original string-thru Rhoads models used it. Kirk Hammet's Rhoads is an '84, and if you can find a good closeup it has that bridge.

Fantastic bridges. I've got a chrome one I'm getting buried with.:lmao:

Re: Raiding the parts bin

You got any details and stats for the X2n Plus, like resistance and inductance??

Also I'm uk so Postage will vary a bit.

Let me know bro :beerchug:

Re: Raiding the parts bin

I'll get the DC resistance when I get home but I have absolutely no idea how to get the inductance. I've got a nice ripoff of a Fluke meter but all I know how to do with it is measure resistance and voltage.

Re: Raiding the parts bin

Man... It's Formula73. It ain't like he's some ass who nobody knows who comes on here just to sell **** at stupid asking prices. He isn't trying to screw anyone. If it's too high, he'll either not sell it, or he'll get offers. BFD!

Re: Raiding the parts bin

That is mega awesome!

sweet, perfect.

How much including postage to uk mate? I'm happy to pay more than the $85 cause of the postage.

Re: Raiding the parts bin

Good deal. I'm using those flat rate priority mail boxes so I ought to be able to get back to you with a figure this afternoon!

Re: Raiding the parts bin

MORE STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since LHS asked me to for that X2N, I figured I'd go ahead and just post pics of all of them with a meter. At least you KNOW the sound should come out, right?:laugh2:

Dimarzio Super D. It comes with the short angled ring because I already have a box full of rings that I'll probably sell on ebay for 3 dollars. I don't know why somebody pulled off the original cloth tape nor do I know why that same person put electrical tape back on instead, but I do know it looks like crap. However, it still sounds just like it should. Looks like the legs were drilled out and adapters are on there. I actually wish I knew where the hell to get those...$40

X2N Power Plus. Again, this is one of the old ones with the nickel silver baseplate that eats the new ones for dinner. Angry, angry pickup that actually is very articulate. $75

Matsumoku MMK45. The solder on the leg is from an old bridge ground. The sound is powerful and bright. The bass is tight and the mids are present but not overbearing. It's a cool pickup. I'd recommend it as a neck against something powerful in the bridge, like a Super D or X2N (hint, hint). $35.

Gibson 57 Classic Plus. I don't know for sure why the cover's been off, nor do I know why the sticker's gone. I imagine it was because somebody added the cover later and maybe the sticker fell off. I dunno. I DO know it sounds like a Classic Plus and that all the construction details are exactly the same as the other 57 Classic, right down to the tool marks on the legs. It's got a little wear on the bass side of the cover from the right hand. $50.

Gibson 57 Classic...yep. That's what it is. Buttery smooth and vintagey. $55.

Dean Flathead bridge. Alnico 2, 12 screw poles. This is actually my favorite pup in their lineup but I've got no home for it. It's comparable in power to the 57 but brighter. These are all wound right down in Tampa, Florida. $30.

Dean Nostalgia bridge. Poor man's 59, essentially. A5 production PAF clone. It can do just about anything...just like the 59. $30.

SD Screamin Demon. I'm letting it go cheap because somebody direct mounted it then soldered the wrong size nuts on the back and it's currently got proper sized nuts epoxied ON TOP of the big ones. That and it's got about 3 inches of lead left before those ghetto extensions and electrical tape around it. $35.

Dimarzio Super Distortion T. It really does sound like a Super Distortion-very thick and very powerful YET with a bit of hair up top. The previous owner of my Charvel was nice enough to put all the stuff in the case with it SO it comes with the box, paper, and springs. $45.

I don't know WTF this thing is but it meters, it's got Super D style poles and a MASSIVE ceramic. $10...$5 if you buy something else and I can combine shipping.

Re: Raiding the parts bin

Those first two double cream Di'Marzio are screaming at me to put them into my Paul:

7223996548_7b0a60fd0c_c.jpg

Not sure I can go through with it, though. The Paul looks classic with the covers, and sounds so good as it.

Re: Raiding the parts bin

God damn, you're selling two of the three humbuckers I've been meaning to try out for years. And I don't even have a ****ing guitar to put them in. :banghead:

Those MMKs are pretty awesome pickups, by the way. They came stock in my Westone and sound really great.

Good luck with the sale, chief. :beerchug:
