Randall RD100h delay when switching from clean to distortion

I recently purchased the RD100h, and it sounds awesome. Especially behind my SH-6. However, when I'm switching between the clean channel and one of the two distortion channels, there is a momentary delay before the switch actually occurs. This fraction-of-a-second hesitation occurs when pressing the channel selection button on the head, as well as when using the footswitch. There is not a delay when switching between the two overdrive channels. Has anyone encountered this? Is this normal for this amp? If not, has anyone figured out a fix to this? They probably have some delay in the switching circuit to prevent a pop when switching channels. You can always contact Randall directly to to make sure it is normal though.
