Randall rs125cx ohms help! (2x12 1x15 cab)

I am wanting to pair a Randall RS125CX with a 8 ohm 2x12 cab going into a 5150 head. Does anyone know the ohms on the Randall? if it's 8ohms I set the switch to 4 ohms on the head when running both said cabs right? Thanks in advance!

if you have the cab

insert the speaker cable and use a digital multimeter

test leads on the tip of the cable and the sleeve

they have some really inexpensive ones at Harbor Freight


at Amazon
the no name generic ones are $5
name brands like Craftsman and Extech are $15

It's 8 Ohms.

I have that cab and love it. Excellent for thick, downtuned crust punk.

I know this is an old thread, but thought I'd help out for any folks who need to know this in the future.
