First time I've tried the Zoom G1Xon with one of my drive pedals (Visa distortion) plugged in externally. The Zoom Pedal does'nt allow you to bypass it's pre-amp, but I ran the pedal going into a "clean" patch & it turned out ok. Did'nt really dial in anything from the Visa just plugged in and played with the same settings I have it set for going into my amp's clean channel. A bit of tweaking & some reverb would've helped probably..
