Everybody always assumes aftermarket bridges are better, but sometimes too much sustain translates into brightness and a hard edge.
I bought TonePros bridges for my PRS wrap-around McCartys, and they sounded bright, cutting, and too much sustain. I put the originals back on and the guitars had a nice sweet tone again. Ted McCarty and Leo Fender weren't dummies.
