This is after I bent the wood back to its original shape. The pickguard and control cover are basically holding it together.

..about a liter of tequila.

yeah but what did you do to the geetar? you back over it with a truck? zap it with a tesla coil? drop an anvil on it?

details man, details! inquiring minds want to know what kinda things can break an SG like that!

Please tell me that's not a Gibson... Granted if it's an Epi its only marginally less bad, but at least a replacement axe would cost less. This is the reason i don't touch my favorite guitars when I've had a few. I would be really upset.

I hope its fixable bro. If not may he/she rest in peace.

Get hammered again and then fix it. Trust me it always works out.

One word. Epoxy.

Its strange, the fixing of big wood breaks like that.

Sometimes you kill whatever was good about the guitar
Sometimes you fix whatever was lacking

You never know until you try

If it were mine, and the damage was done, and now it's time to fix it...

I'd glue and clamp it back together really perfectly, then sand the whole thing. Then, buy a cool Reranch color, and do the best job I could.

Disguise the crack as good as possible, tape it off, and give it something like an orange or blue finish.
