M Mephis New member Jul 19, 2005 #1 Now that I've decided my telecaster is my best sounding high gain guitar, I've run into a problem. It hums pretty good heh. Whats a good noise gate that wont kill my tone or my sustain and also wont make me have to sell my soul?

E ericmeyer4 New member Jul 19, 2005 #2 Re: Recomend me a noise gate please. I know you are looking for a noise gate, but have you considered stacked single coil pups? just a thought. How much are you looking to spend? Ive used the Boss Noise Gate it was good for the money. edm

M Mephis New member Jul 19, 2005 #4 Re: Recomend me a noise gate please. Well, The stacks are alright, I decided against them tho. I loved the tone of the Qp and I still think its got one of the best gain tones I've ever heard. Just gets a wee bit noisey with super high gain, heh.

Justice4all New member Jul 19, 2005 #6 Re: Recomend me a noise gate please. Im using the Boss NS2 in front of my Knucklehead Reverb and its great. A good secondhand one shouldnt run you to much money.
