ok u delay using folks, recommend me one.

EDIT:something simple, dun need any delay modelling stuff. just a simple no-frills good pedal which is not "fake" or digital sounding.

I'll vouch for the DD-6, I'm not one of the analog guys...

The DD-6 has great options, particularly the stereo output. Easy to use, too!

DD-3. Better sounding than the DD-6 IMO. The Line6 stuff is good too. These days, it boils down to what you can afford for what you're wanting.

Rocktron Short Timer. Analog sound, digital circuit, dirt cheap.

I would say the Boss DD-3 should do the trick, but it might be a little more than you need. I like the suggestion for the Rocktron Short Timer.

Its expensive but has versatility (Tap Tempo Stereo Outputs) if u need it but is still simple (i reckon its simplier then any "Digital" BOSS Unit

I second the rocktron for simplicity! I'm real pissed mine got stolen...but hey, I'll get over it...I'm gonna replace it with a DD-3 this time though just for a little more flexibility, even though I think the rocktron sounded better. The DD-3 sounds good enough for me and gives me a couple of more options.

You say simple no frills? I just ordered a danelectro BLT. I expect to get 23 dollars worth of slap back echo. I should get it some time this week. I will report my finding. If it's a keeper? I plan on hardwiring it into a metal box.

I use a Boss DD-6 and love it. But if your looking for something more simple, go with the DD-3. You can't beat a boss pedal! they're tanks!

Old Ibanez DML-delays if you can find any used ones.
Sounds nicer than Boss.
If you can find any Chandler Echo than you're lucky, but those a re mostly 19", but simple and delightful delays.
Our own stuff I can recommend the Reed Repeat, deadsimple and sounds nothing like normal digitaldelays, and it is not even expensive

The damn thing has impedence problems when I try and use it with my Orange amp tho

I use a DD-6... Can get a nice long delay not possible with analog.

The Danelectro Peanut Butter and Jelly delay pedal seems a real good choice. Pretty cheap too.
