Recommend me a modern sounding wah please

Re: Recommend me a modern sounding wah please

I picked up the Bad Horsie 2 cheap off eBay. I love it. Its like having 2 wahs in one. Main setting works like a bad horsie. step on... off you go. the contour mode u can adjust contour and level, step on... off you go. Simple as anything, i love mine, sounds good to my ears but i can only compare to a VOX which was also good. The switchless function works a treat.

MR Wolfe,

Due tothat awesome customer service I was mentioning by Morley, I ended up having aboth a Bad Horsie and a Bad HorsieII at the same time. I a\bd them and to me the Bad horsie, sounded thicker than the BH II in the regular mode.

And as I sadid the contour mode didn't do much but add some noise.

To each his own though, I didnt' feel that the extra cost was worth it for the BH II.

Also wanted to mention to you guys that the Morley pedals are adjustable , there is a screw inside there you can turn to adjust the sweep frequency and there is alos an adjustment that can be made to the Light or LED that does something to the sound.

Bill Wenzloff, President of Morley spent about a half hour on the phone with me telling me hos to do this,so If you get one off the shelf and it doesn't scream like you want or it doesn' t hav enough low end, you can adjust them to your liking. Just call and they will tell you where the nut is to turn. nd how to adjust the LED

Re: Recommend me a modern sounding wah please

I've been using a Morley Pro Volume/Wah for about 10 years and it's solid! The sound is great too. Morley has plenty of wahs to choose from as well... I definately say Morley is the way to go...
