Recommendations for Pickups for a 2011 Les Paul Studio Mahogany Exclusive !!!

Hello I am thinking of changing the P/Us in my LP and was wondering what would be a good fit ! It has the cp board with the plugs so any advice would be appreciated and Please have a Very Good XMas !!!

What is it about the tone currently that you want to change?

What tone/sound are you going for?

What style of music?

We would need to know the answers to these questions, first. But you can also decide if you want to keep the PC board- you then have to splice connectors on the replacement pickups, either by cutting them off of the stock ones or buying replacement 'tails' and splicing them in.

I am looking for a 70,s blues and Classic rock sound !!! I also Love P-90,s but I don't no if that's a drop in ?

P-90 is an excellent choice for that guitar. There are many "drop-in" P-90 pups that are in a humbucker-sized case. One of my favorites is the Mean 90 by GFS which is also the least expensive...less than $35. http://www.guitarfetish.com/search.asp?keyword=mean+90

Thank you for your suggestions , I went with Phat Cats and I love them just what I was looking for sort of a Jazz master big single coil sound and No Noise !!!
