would it be better to record using amps line out (headphone, not speaker) and than run that (through adapters) into the audio line in in the comp.....totally standard sound card, than to just play and to use the shitty comp mike (top of the moniter style) to record.....with the mike id get comp noise no? ill try them both out maybe, any advice?

also, wheres a good free mp3 hosting site?

I'd say the headphone out will probably work better than the mic built into a monitor. If you can, buy a mic you can stick in front of the cab.

yea, but doesnt a decent mike cost like 60 or 70 bucks? if the line works out decent (it doesnt need to be spectacular quality, just enough to work, hear tone, get the idea, im using audacity) i dont wanna hafta spend that money, id rather save it for one of my next guitar purchases
