Here we go.
Hello,
This is an old thread, but now it's my turn to be on trouble.
I did everything according to this one

but don't have enough output on the bridge. Like, I need to have the amp on 10, when I'm going with the neck on 2, for example.
Then just today I discovered this one

and started comparing them. They're NOT the same!
Why did the initial op succeed? And why are they different?
I have to mention though not all 4 pots are the same. The volumes are A500k & the tones are B500k.
I'm asking this now, before I start the rework. To know if I'm gonna modify something on the volume, or use the diagram I downloaded from SD.
Again, why are they different, especially when on the first one it says courtesy of SD?
Thanks!

"You'll get better luck starting a new thread about your question, but to partially answer it, the A and the B on the pots refers to their taper. The reason the wirings are different is because their are multiple ways to skin a cat. Your volume issue is likely a bad solder joint, or possibly the two coils of the bridge pickup are out of phase with each other, but it's most likely a bad joint."
It really can't be the same thing, just skinned in another way!
Look, for example, at the capacitors. On the diagram provided by the op in 2013, the black wires from the pickups go through the caps.
Whereas on the diagram I got yesterday from the SD website, they don't.
I'm no electronics guy, I only do my wirings, based on diagrams, and I can solder.
And i just checked all the solderings. They're solid.
But if I'm provided with a curious diagram (considering), I'm really not willing to re-open it prior to knowing what to do.
I mean, right now I'm tempted to redo the whole thing according to SD (second pic), cause I know it's from the best source.
But if anyone tells me just what to modify on the one I have now inside my guitar (first pic), and they're sure of it, then I'll by happy to do it.
Since it's a more convenient and faster way.
Thanks!
