Replace my amps with a line6 pod?

Re: Replace my amps with a line6 pod?

You could try getting a London Power Power scaling kit installed on your recto. About 300 bucks I'm told, and by far the best way to get your cranked amp sound at any volume.

this isn't a recto, but it's an amp with power scaling fitted (scaling demo at end):

I'm in the same boat, and my Vox Valvetronix AD60VTH head is indispensable for home use.
They're only about $400, but they're discontinued, so search for a blue grill head and use it with your cabs. It has variable wattage from 6 - 60W.

Or, sell the Marshall head and replace it with a brand new Line 6/Bogner for $799. Even though it's tube, it can still be dialed down low. You won't be taking a step down tonewise either....just a heck of a lot more versatility.
