I was pretty sure the white pearloid wouldn't go well on an SG without gold hardware, and as much as I like a vintage look I couldn't stand having that much cream on the guitar, although that took quite a bit of consideration before I ruled that out. I'm pretty sure the plain white wouldn't look like any SG I've ever seen before and would probably give the guitar more of a Fender look, but I do think that it would stand out against the binding, so in the end....
I ORDERED A BLACK PEARL!!!! I freaking can't wait, I will definitely borrow someone's digital camera when it gets here to post some pics!

which is definitely a classy look, just not sure if I could imagine what it would look like, and as much as I kept trying to come up with other ideas I just kept coming back to the black pearl.
