Replacing FWRH in a '72 tele thinline reissue

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about changing the pickups in my MIM 72 thinline reissue with the dual humbuckers. I play some sloppy punk, grungy, jam based stoner rock and blues... and I was wondering what you guys would recommend as far as pickups go. I"m thinking of the SH-4, maybe the SH-6... This is my first attempt replacing pickups and any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm also thinking of slapping on a Bigsby B5 on the back, just an FYI in case that alters your opinions.

thanks

Distortion, though for doomy stoner rock, I'd have to recommend the Invader. Big, powerful, lots of low mids...

The first thing you've gotta do is to see if the new p'ups will actually fit without any further luthier job... as IIRC, the FWRH p'ups are BIGGER than normal HBs.

Start right there! ;)
